CHART topping indie folk band Noah and the Whale have announced a series of live shows in the UK in the run-up to the release of their fourth album, Heart of Nowhere. The tour includes a date at the O2 Academy Bournemouth on April 27.
Tickets will go on sale at 9am on Friday morning. Since starting out in 2006, Noah and the Whale have come of age as a band.
As the leaders of the same British folk-rock scene that spawned Laura Marling, Mumford & Sons, and Emmy the Great.
It was their third album from 2011, the platinum-selling Last Night On Earth that really cemented their reputation with the big singles L.I.F.E.G.O.E.S.O.N, Tonight’s The Kind Of Night, Life Is Life and Waiting For My Chance To Come.
Noah And The Whale’s fourth studio album, Heart Of Nowhere, will be released on May 6.The release of Heart of Nowhere will also see the return of lead singer Charlie Fink as director, with a short film planned to accompany the album.
