A WAVE of 2013’s most hotly-tipped electronic music acts have been announced for Bournemouth metropolitan music festival The Block Party, taking place on Saturday, May 4.
Following a spate of closures of major nightclubs in the town this year, the event should reinvigorate Bournemouth’s reputation as a party capital.
Block party will 2,500 people descend on six venues in the seaside town for a 12 hour programme of over thirty DJs & live acts.
Early bookings announced are from across the spectrum of electronic music, including house music pioneer Miguel Campbell, much buzzed future-garage duo Bondax, BBC Radio 1 new boy Jackmaster, drum and bass stalwart Friction plus Duke Dumont, Maxxi Soundystem, Toyboy & Robin and Linguistics.
More information is available at wayfclub.com and limited early bird tickets are on-sale now via seetickets.com/go/blockparty.
