ELEANOR Nursing and Social Care has announced that it is taking over SCA’s homecare services in Poole.
Eleanor Care, an independent company set up in 1979, provides personal and domestic care, live-in support workers, nursing staff, palliative care, specialist dementia and learning disability care, companionship and respite services.
The SCA Group started off delivering community transport in Southampton before developing a care division.
Eleanor Care, an approved provider on the Poole Care at Home framework, is working with SCA Care and Poole council to make sure there is continuity of care for clients during the transition.
Marc Santhi, Eleanor Care’s managing director, said: “We are keen to ensure that clients in the Poole area will continue to receive the highest standard of care and support.
“The transfer of services to Eleanor Care is also good news for the local area as we are looking to recruit 100 more support workers.”
Eleanor Care is part of the Eleanor Healthcare Group which provides services including home care, nursing staff and patient transport services.
