A GANG of four adults attacked two teenage boys as they walked along a Bournemouth road.

Police say the lads – aged 15 and 13 – were “traumatised” by the robbery.

They are appealing for information about the attack, which happened after the boys got off a bus in Winton.

Officers said the boys had just got off the bus and were walking along Stirling Road at around 11.15pm last Friday when the assault happened.

Shortly after leaving the bus, they were approached by four adult strangers who attacked them and demanded their mobile phones.

The 15-year-old boy had his phone smashed while the 13-year-old had his phone stolen along with a bank card.

Both boys received cuts and bruises in the attack.

Police have issued a description of one of the robbers and are requesting help in finding the men.

DC Jon Sainsbury of Bournemouth and Poole CID said: “This has been a very traumatic experience for the two boys, and I am appealing for witnesses to assist with this investigation.

“One of the offenders from the incident is described as around 6ft tall, well built, aged around 20 and wearing a grey hooded jumper.

“I would ask anyone who may have witnessed this offence take place or anyone with information about the offenders to contact police as soon as possible in the strictest confidence.”

No one has been arrested over the incident involving the two teenage boys.

Witnesses and anyone with information on the attack should call Dorset Police in confidence on 101 quoting incident number 22:546, or the free and anonymous Crimestoppers line on 0800 555 111.
