SWANAGE solicitor Craig Wells hopes to raise at least £1,750 when he takes part in the London Marathon later this month.

Father-of-two Craig will take the start line, along with 37,000 other runners, for his chosen charity Children with Cancer UK.

He said: “I’m really looking forward to it. The atmosphere should be fantastic.”

Speaking earlier this month, he said: “Training is going well and I’m currently doing 30 miles a week with a run of up to 15 miles at weekends.”

Craig, 43, became a partner of Ellis Jones Solicitors three years after joining the firm in 2002.

The former Purbeck School pupil said: “Everyone is being very supportive, especially my wife, Julie, and I’m really pleased to be getting close to my fundraising target with still weeks to go.”

Craig has two sons, aged seven and four.
