THE very eloquent words of Canon Stephen Batty on the front page of today’s paper say it all.

Most of us can only marvel at the courage, strength and perseverance, not only of brothers Harry and Cody Churchill but of their parents too.

We can only marvel too at the love that bonded the family and particularly the boys together.

Yesterday, hundreds of people turned out to bid a final farewell to Harry and Cody and to pay tribute to them.

For two children so young, they were an inspiration to many.

Harry, it was pointed out at the service held at St Aldhelms, was not expected to live for more than six months.

Mum Steph and dad Chris are surely grateful for every extra second they had with their sons, known as “the butterfly boys”.
