KEEN photographers of all ages can get snap happy with two photography workshops being held in Christchurch.
Organised by Christchurch Borough Council’s Countryside Service, the events both take place at Steamer Point Nature Reserve in April.
A children’s digital camera workshop is being held on Thursday April 4 from 10am to 12pm, where youngsters can join expert photographers Dennis Booth and Robin Wilson for a walk, talk and activities to help them get the most out of their camera or camera phone.
Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult and the session costs £3 per child.
The second workshop is an early morning wildlife shoot which will take place on Saturday April 6 between 8am and 10.30am and is aimed at adults, but open to all.
It will include tips from the same expert photographers on close-up photography and how best to capture wildlife and the nature reserve on a camera. Tickets cost £4 per person, to include refreshments.
The workshops are being run in conjunction with the Red House Museum and the Ecological Society. To book a place call Christchurch Countryside Service on 01425 272479.
