A number of special Easter services are being held at various churches around Poole this weekend with outdoor events for early risers also planned.
Easter Day Sunrise services are due to take place on Sunday at 6am with a Communion Service at Sandbanks with St Clements Church and at St Aldhelm's Head, Worth Matravers. There will also be a service at Branksome Beach with members of St Aldhelm's Church.
A service of Holy Communion is due to be held at St Mary's Church on Brownsea Island at 3pm on Easter Sunday.
Churches Together in East Poole will hold their Easter Service at St Luke's Church, Wellington Road, Parkstone on Sunday at 6.30pm.
