THERE will be one more egg to tuck into this weekend for children who complete an Easter challenge in Upper Parkstone.

Ashley Road traders have got together to organise an Easter Hunt contest.

Twenty-eight businesses between the Albert Road and Victoria Road junctions are taking part by displaying Easter egg symbols in their windows.

Those taking part in the contest on Saturday, from 10.30am-2pm, will have to go into each of the shops concerned and find another egg. They get a form signed by the shop assistant and eventually take the completed form to St John's Church, which will be opening its hall to the community.

There will be prizes in two age groups (up to six years old and over-sixes) and everyone gets an Easter egg courtesy of Waitrose, Tesco of Branksome and Co-Op.

Town crier David Squire, who is donating two trophies, will be drumming up support, as will Poole councillor Judy Butt dressed as the Easter bunny.
