THIS is the shocking moment one of Geoffrey Reed’s killers was caught carrying a packed suitcase containing the sex attacker’s body.
Stuart Wareham, together with half-brother Lee Wareham and best friend Benjamin Walter, brutally attacked Mr Reed in his Boscombe flat before stuffing his eight-stone body into a large black suitcase.
CCTV footage shows Stuart Wareham carrying the suitcase from the flat and into his sister’s car on the afternoon of June 7 last year.
The crucial footage was shown to the jury during the five-week trial at Winchester Crown Court.
The jury were also shown CCTV footage filmed later that day of Stuart Wareham and accomplice Benjamin Walter borrowing two spades and a fork from Stuart’s grandmother in Lytchett Matravers.
They can be seen walking towards woodland alongside the farm in Huntick Road to dig a shallow grave before returning a while later having swapped jackets.
Stuart Wareham can be seen stopping briefly to wipe his brow before returning the items to his grandmother.
Police have also released photographs of the shallow grave where Geoffrey Reed’s body was discovered in the week after his murder. They show the grave disguised by twigs and bramble and reveal the burial site as it was uncovered by specialist police officers.
