So I can be a bit of a quirky dresser when I feel like it. Or perhaps just have one of those days when I feel like dressing a bit like a Plain Jane. Either way, I like to feel comfortable in what I am wearing, as I’m sure most people do, unless you're Lady Gaga.
As this spring season isn’t the warmest in history, I’m not allowing myself to enter my summer wardrobe just yet.
What I’ve chosen to wear today shows that I’m still into the whole cosy jumper and leggings thing.
Although my outfit perhaps looks a bit dull, I’ve tried to brighten it up a bit with my pair of white frilly socks. They’re quite popularly worn with the Creepers that I’m wearing, a shoe style that sways away from the mainstream market, with the big black, bulky sole. They’re either loved or hated.
I’ll admit, the socks are a bit excessive, not like my smaller frilled-ones from Topshop, these are from the kids section in Matalan. If I’m going to do the whole frilly socks thing, I sometimes like to do it proper - old school.
The leggings I am wearing are a clothing item that I can guarantee almost every modern-day girl has in their wardrobe, specifically the black ones, easy to slip on and match with almost any other garment. My jumper, by Obey, is unusually tight fitting for me, I often wear baggy jumpers that envelope my upper-torso.
