Police investigating the death of a Wimborne cyclist in a road traffic collision in Southampton have charged a driver.
Steven Carl Petterson, 38, of Waterhouse Lane, Southampton, has been charged with causing death by driving without due care and attention.
He was bailed to appear at Southampton Magistrates Court on June 7.
The Ford Transit minibus he was driving was in collision with a bicycle on the A33 Mountbatten Way on December 17 last year.
The cyclist, 48-year-old David Timothy Irving, died at the scene as a result of his injuries.
The driver of a Mercedes Coupe, a 56-year-old man from Fordingbridge, also arrested at the time, was released with no further action.
