FOLLOWING the success of the 208, Peugeot has unveiled its challenger in the sector above.
Somewhat predictably called the 308, looks-wise it builds on the new design language seen in its little brother, while a new cockpit-style cabin design is promised, with “premium materials, exceptional build quality and a clean button-less interior”.
A range of efficient petrol and diesel engines are promised, with emissions as low as 85g/kg.
Using the manufacturer’s new EMP2 modular platform, it will weight 140kg less than its predecessor.
The new 308 is due to make its world debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September.
