BIG discounts are up for grabs with a new Poole Pass offering deals at local attractions, shops and restaurants.

Twenty-four participants across the town are taking part in the deals, developed by Poole Tourism and its Attraction Group Partners.

Discounts on trips with Blue Line Cruises, Rockley Park Watersports and Splashdown, two for one entry at Corfe Castle Model Village and The Blue Pool are included.

Poole Town Centre Partnership members are also taking part in the scheme with Maddisons Hairdressers in the lower High Street offering 20 per cent off and the same off summer reads at Waterstones bookshop.

And there are exclusive special offers at the Custom House on Poole Quay and Patrick’s Restaurant and bar at Ashley Cross. Compton Acres, Condor Ferries and Poole Museum are among those with special Poole Pass offers.

This weekend the launch is being celebrated with the pass being sold for a bargain price of £1 each – normally £3 for an adult and £2 per child.

There will be a Poole Pass Store in Falkland Square or people can visit the Welcome Centre on Poole Quay.

“The pass is designed for savvy visitors and residents to get some great bargains,” said Bruce Grant-Braham, chairman of Poole Tourism Partnership.

“It’s an ideal investment not just for the summer, but for the rest of the year and is something we hope local residents will find really useful.”

Sponsored by leading entertainment park Tower Park, the pass is valid until December 31 and users can take advantage of the offers as many times as they wish.
