BUSINESS is business as they say. The economic downturn has had a devastating effect on the high street since 2008 and in most towns and cities there’s an alarming number of empty shops.
So filling even one of these should cause for unalloyed celebration.
Except that in this instance, the premises in question is a sex shop in the middle of Poole. Maybe not such a big deal? Bournemouth town centre has at least three lapdancing clubs and they seem to be taken for granted now.
And in the current climate, beggars can’t really be choosers, can they?
