A COW was rescued from boggy ground in Corfe Mullen on Friday night.
Firefighters from Ferndown and the animal rescue team from Poole were called to the muddy marsh land at Barrow Hill off Blandford Road North in Corfe Mullen just before 8.30pm.
They used strops and rescue boards to pull the 12-year-old fully grown cow to safety.
A vet attended and liaised with the owner of the animal.
It was rescued safely from the bog and made warm.
