THE sun shone on more than 60 big-hearted walkers who set off in fancy dress from the Cockleshell pub in Poole on Saturday morning to raise funds for a good cause.
The 26-mile walk in aid of Julia’s House was organised in memory of inspirational young brothers Harry and Cody Churchill by family friend Rebecca Way.
Rebecca is hoping to raise more than £4,000 by the walk which will make its way along the seafront to Hengistbury Head and back.
She said: “I’m delighted with the response; as well as family and friends, total strangers have joined in.”
