THE air ambulance was called to Durdle Door on Saturday afternoon after a woman fractured her ankle.
Paramedics requested coastguard assistance to evacuate the woman, who had suffered the injury while walking on the coast path around 3.55pm.
Earlier in the day, at around 1.05pm, Coastguards were called when a boat suffered engine failure in Durlston Bay and had to be towed back to Swanage to be repaired.
The single crew member on board So Long and Thanks for All the Fish reported the issue on the VHF radio, which was picked by crew on the Sandpiper vessel.
After it was repaired, the boat returned to Poole Harbour.
