A FORMER Bournemouth resident has today been jailed under new legislation designed to catch sex tourists.
David Graham, 47, admitted sexual activity with a teenage boy in Cambodia when he appeared at the Old Bailey in London this morning (Mon).
He is the second man to be prosecuted under the law which allows UK nationals to dealt with in Britain for offences committed abroad.
The offence was committed in April 2006 and Graham was arrested two months later by British police.
But he fled to France in August of the same year and was only arrested in 2012 when he was discovered in Perpignan running a fish and chip shop with a Jamaican woman.
Graham was jailed for 21 months and ordered to pay £2,500 costs.
