A woman has been charged with attempted murder after a man was found injured in a Langley road on Saturday, May 18.
The 73-year-old man was found lying on a grass verge in West Common, by members of the public around 12.45pm.
The man had suffered significant head injuries and was taken by ambulance to Southampton General Hospital, where he remains in a stable condition.
Detectives believe the man had been knocked over by a car.
A 72-year-old woman was arrested and has since been charged with attempted murder.
Sally Stickland from West Common in Langley is due to appear before Southampton Magistrates Court today, Monday, May 20.
