FIREFIGHTERS are having to cut a roof off a car after a crash on Castle Lane West near Castlepoint this morning.
The two-car collision between a white Citroen Saxo and white Peugeot panel van took place on the roundabout in Castle Lane at Yeomans Road and Mallard Road just after 7.30am.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said the vehicles are blocking the road.
The road was cleared by 8.50am.
It is believed traffic is being diverted towards Cooper Dean through Castlepoint via Hamblin Way.
Firefighters are having to remove the roof of the Saxo to release the driver, who has suffered a possible neck injury.
She was taken to Poole Hospital but her injuries are not believed to be serious.
