POLICE are searching for a flasher in the Branksome Park area after a man exposed himself to two joggers on Sunday morning.

The local mum and her 14-year-old daughter were running along Tower Road West at around 11.30am when they encountered the man, described as white, in his twenties, with black hair and wearing a stripey dark blue top, at the junction with Ettrick Road.

Dorset Police confirmed an area search was carried out but the offender was not located.

An investigation is on-going.

The incident follows a short spate of indecent assaults which were perpetrated last summer in the Branksome Chine Walk area.

Branksome Park and Canford Cliffs Residents’ Association chairman John Sprackling commented: “I think this was an isolated incident, and pretty unpleasant for those who encountered it, but I haven’t had any problems like this reported to me.

“It is a pretty low crime area and safe to walk around.”
