BOURNEMOUTH council leader Cllr John Beesley will certainly divide opinion with his views on homelessness in the town. Many will agree with his comments that Bournemouth shouldn’t have to “carry the burden” for the homeless from other areas.
But others will argue that the homeless should be allowed to move – like everyone else – and stay in attractive towns and cities rather than unpleasant conurbations.
Perhaps we can all agree that there needs to be adequate funding and provision for whoever finds themselves in such an unfortunate situation.
