FOOTBALL boss Harry Redknapp has been ordered to pay £359 by magistrates after admitting to speeding in Poole.

Redknapp had denied exceeding the 30mph speed limit in The Avenue in Poole at a previous hearing in Bournemouth, but changed his plea to guilty.

The Sandbanks resident, who lives on Panorama Road, was caught speeding in his Land Rover on October 23 last year and must pay a £235 fine, £100 costs and a £24 victim surcharge.

His licence was endorsed with three points.

The Queens Park Rangers manager, whose team has just been relegated and will face Cherries next season, had also denied failing to give information about the identity of the driver of the Land Rover.

Prosecutors had told magistrates that the 66-year-old could not remember whether it had been him or his wife Sandra at the wheel.

This charge was dropped by the CPS, with no evidence offered.
