Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean want David Beckham and Kylie Minogue for the final series of 'Dancing on Ice'.
The celebrity skating contest will end after nine seasons We hope a lot of the old competitors will come back too next year and the professional coaches already have a wish-list of their dream contestants, with the newly-retired soccer star and the pop princess at the top of their targets.
Christopher said: "At the start of each series, we sit down and write a wish list. Jayne always starts with David Beckham."
Jayne added: "And he's just retired, so it's perfect timing, isn't it? He probably wants to learn a new skill...
"And what about Kylie? She'd be great too, wouldn't she? We'd also love to get some more Olympians to take part."
The skaters are also hopeful some former contestants will return for the final series.
Jayne told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "We hope a lot of the old competitors will come back too. We've had some incredible contestants.
"Ray Quinn was up there as one of the best, Chris Fountain was a natural, Hayley Tamaddon loved it and Bonnie Langford was amazing - her lifts were fantastic."
And the pair are desperate to get host Phillip Schofield onto the ice.
Christopher said: "We've been winding Phillip Schofield up and telling him this is his last chance to get out on the ice himself.
"His wife skates and I think he's been with her a few times so I don't think he's a total novice - in fact he may be keeping his cards close to his chest!"
