POLICE are looking for a driver who approached a teenage girl as she walked along a road.

The 16-year-old from Christchurch was walking along Cranleigh Road in Southbourne on Monday at 7.20pm when a black vehicle pulled up alongside her.

Police said there was an altercation and the man drove off.

The suspect is described as a dark-skinned man around 30 years old. He was wearing a black T-shirt and jeans.

The vehicle was black with a rounded back, a loud exhaust, darkened windows and red and blue “angel eye” headlights.
