DREAMS are coming true for Emily Kishere, as she prepares for the final of the prestigious Miss England competition.
The 22-year-old, from Bearwood, scooped the title of Miss Dorset in a contest held at Bournemouth nightclub Priva on Friday, and will be competing for the Miss England event in Torquay in just four weeks’ time.
Emily, who is working as a playgroup practitioner while studying her diploma in child care, watched her sister compete in Miss England in 2005 and has always wanted to win a place in the competition.
She said: “Winning this title means that I will now have just four weeks to get prepared for Miss England, including making an eco dress for the show, so I am looking forward to using all sorts of recycled products to make an eye-catching dress.
“I am extremely excited to have won this title and I hope to do Dorset proud in the Miss England finals.”
Emily has been working hard towards her dream, and was recently fourth runner up in the Miss Galaxy England contest after winning the Miss Dorset Galaxy title, and was named Miss Bournemouth 2010 and The Face of Bournemouth 2012.
She was also placed third Princess in The Face of Europe in November, 2012.
