POLICE are appealing for witnesses after two men were seen fighting with golf clubs in Bournemouth.
The affray took place along Charminster Road near to the junction with Castle Lane West around 2.30pm on Friday May 17.
A passing member of the public reported to two Police Community Support Officers that two men were fighting in the area with golf clubs.
When the officers arrived at the scene the men ran off.
Nobody was injured.
PC Chrissie Plumley, of Bournemouth police, said: “I need to establish what exactly happened.
“I am appealing for the member of the public who reported the incident to the officers to contact Dorset Police.
“I would also urge any other witnesses and anyone with information about the alleged affray to call police on 101.”
A 19-year-old man, a 16-year-old boy, both from Bournemouth, and a 23-year-old man of an unknown address were arrested on suspicion of affray and released on bail pending further enquiries.
Witnesses and anyone with information should call Dorset Police on 101 quoting incident number 17:278.
They can also call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
