THE wait is finally over as this year’s much-anticipated Wave 105 Live! returns to the BIC on Saturday and chart-topping songstress, Paloma Faith is topping the bill.
Wave 105 Live! is a live music event produced and hosted by the popular regional radio station and is back for the third year running, with the previous two shows selling out.
Paloma Faith is a platinum-selling artist with prestigious award nominations under her belt including the Brit Award for Best British Female Artist. Take That star Mark Owen will also set to take to the stage tomorrow.
As both a solo artist and member of one of the UK’s biggest boy bands, Mark has sold more than 45.5 million records and had 29 Top 40 hits, including 11 number ones. Now the singer songwriter will leave his band mates behind to perform Take That classics and songs from his new solo album, The Art of Doing Nothing, which was recorded in the studio at the end of his garden, ‘The Rabbit Hutch’.
The singer joins an all-star line-up of acts for Wave 105 Live! also include Travis, Stooshe, pictured left, Union J, Loveable Rogues and Tony Hadley.
The line-up brings the total hits from this year’s Wave 105 Live acts to a staggering 59 Top 40 hits with a combined total of 62.6 million record sales.
