AN INCREASE in thefts from vehicles has resulted in a warning being issued by the Hamworthy Safer Neighbourhood Team to residents to ensure cars are locked.
More than 60 per cent of vehicles entered in Poole had been left unlocked.
Officers are reminding drivers to ensure cars are left secure when unattended and not to leave any valuable items in vehicles.
It is one of several areas to have seen a spate of thefts from cars.
