Commercial Road has reopened again this evening after a car collided with a traffic signal.
The A35 Commercial Road was shut both ways at the B3369 Sandbanks Road after the collision, which was reported to police at around 4.48pm.
However, around an hour-and-a-half later, the road reopened.
A black Vauxhall Astra registered to a keeper from Somerset was involved in the crash, along with a silver Smart Car.
Dorset Fire and Rescue attended to cut the roof off of the Smart Car as a motorist was medically trapped.
The driver was taken to Poole General Hospital, but her injuries are thought to be slight.
Police closed the road at around 5pm, and traffic was diverted along Ashley Road.
The traffic lights are not working following the crash, leading to longer delays.
