DORSET Police are looking for community-spirited individuals to sign up as a volunteer.
There are currently 97 people offering their services in a variety of roles such as CCTV operators, community messaging and administration.
To mark National Volunteers’ Week – June 1 to 7 – the force would like to add more volunteers to their team.
Inspector Mike Darkin said: “We currently have a number of vacancies for volunteers to join us. These vacancies are throughout the county. “Whether you can spare a few hours or even a day a week, there could be an opportunity just waiting for you.”
