NEW CCTV, landscaping and signage aims to make a key route in central Bournemouth safer and easier to use.
Additional CCTV cameras are being installed in the subways at Station roundabout at the Lansdowne as part of a package of measures to improve the Interchange and the route into Bournemouth town centre.
The work is part of the £12million Three Towns Travel programme, which aims to ease chronic congestion in Bournemouth, Poole and Christchurch.
Ian Kalra, Bournemouth’s transportation services manager, said: “As part of the Three Towns Travel programme we aim to make the route between Bournemouth Station and the town centre easier, safer and more attractive.
