FIREFIGHTERS were called to a paper recycling storage bank in a car park in Swanage on Saturday evening.
A crew from the town was sent to De Moulham Road at 6.10pm to put out the fire.
A fire service spokesman said it was thought the fire, which destroyed between one and two tonnes of paper and severely damaged the bin, was started deliberately.
