A FOUR-vehicle road accident has closed a stretch of the A338 Wessex Way this morning.
Police have closed the Poole-bound carriageway between the St Paul's roundabout and the Richmond Hill turning.
The collision happened at around 9.40am just before the Richmond Hill junction. Two ambulances and two police cars were on the scene.
The vehicles involved were believed to be a Vauxhall Zafira, a green Volvo, a Citroen C3 and another Vauxhall.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said there were minor injuries and described the casualties as "walking wounded".
Police have reopened the road from St Paul's with traffic being diverted up the slip road and down the other side. The section of road under the flyover remains closed.
