THE sister of a woman who has been missing since last week has spoken of her anguish.
Zara Broughton, 28, was last seen at an address in Wimborne on Thursday, May 30, and her family are “extremely worried” about her.
The Coastguard Rescue Helicopter has joined Dorset Police in the hunt for the missing woman, but despite an extensive search of the cliffs and shoreline around Durdle Door, nothing has been found.
Sister Grace called on friends to keep searching for Zara on her Facebook page.
She wrote: “My darling sister Zara has been missing since Thursday evening, we are all extremely worried for her safety and the longer she isn’t found the more worrying it becomes.”
Family members on the social networking site had also shared a link to a Dorset Echo story about Zara’s disappearance.
Zara was last seen driving a black Renault Clio, and the car was later found abandoned at a car park at the Durdle Door campsite, where it had been since Saturday, June 1.
Yesterday, Dorset Police officers put up missing person posters on notice boards around the area.
Zara is described as white, 5ft 4ins tall, of very slim build, and with shoulder length auburn-coloured hair.
She was last seen wearing a beige top with a horizontal black stripe, grey or black skinny jeans, grey or brown hooded sweat top and grey and black pumps with a flower and bow on them.
Inspector Kevin Landsdale, of Dorset Police, said she does not have any money or her mobile phone with her.
He added: “I would urge Zara to contact us – we simply want to make sure that you are safe and well.”
Anyone with information should call Dorset Police on 101 quoting incident number 3:106.
