TWO vehicles crashed in the Branksome Woods area of Poole during rush-hour.

Police and an ambulance crew were called to the junction of Leicester Road and Wilderton Road at 8.23am after the collision, involving a Ford Transit owned by a Bournemouth company and a silver Toyota Corolla registered to a woman from Godalming in Surrey.

A police spokesman said they are waiting to find out the extent of any injuries but the road did not need to be closed despite damage to a tree and road sign.
