THE Wessex Car Show held earlier this month at Lulworth Castle invited entrants from all car clubs and was gratified with a huge response resulting in a huge selection of cars.
The show has grown considerably over the years and the new venue was hailed as the best yet.
Proceeds from the gate were supplemented by a raffle.
There were hundreds of vehicles and motorcycles on display, numerous trade stands, catering, live music and other entertainment.
The charities chosen to benefit were The Jigsaw Appeal, Welmar Trust and About Face.
Hosted by the Dorset Region of the Jaguar Enthusiasts’ Club, the Jaguar marque was well represented.
Four generations of XJ saloon and four generations of sports coupes, along with a Swallow, an SSII, a Mark 5, and the JEC raffle car were among the line up.
