WITNESSES to a burglary at an address in West Howe this week are being asked to come forward.
A silver Samsung laptop and jewellery were stolen from a house in Moore Avenue sometime between 10.45am and 11.55am on Tuesday.
Burglars forced their way into the property before taking the items.
PC Lee Harrison, of Bournemouth Police, said: “I am appealing for anyone who witnessed this incident or recalls any suspicious activity in the area at that time to contact police.
“This theft has caused great distress to the victim and they are very keen for the stolen items to be returned. I would urge anyone who may have been offered a laptop or jewellery in suspicious circumstances for unusually low prices to contact Dorset Police on 101.”
No arrests have been made.
Witnesses and anyone with information should call Dorset Police in confidence on 101 quoting incident number 18:200. Alternatively, call the free and anonymous Crimestoppers line on 0800 555 111 where mobile phone tariffs may apply
