DETECTIVES are hunting for three masked men who threatened the residents of a Poole home and stole cash and jewellery.
The men, all wearing balaclavas, got into the home on Kitchener Crescent on the Waterloo Estate at around 7.30pm on Thursday, threatening the occupants before robbing them.
Detective Constable Adrian Turner, of Bournemouth and Poole CID, said it had been a “very traumatic experience” for the victims and urged the public to help find the men.
He added: “I urge anyone who may recall seeing this incident take place, saw any suspicious behaviour prior to this robbery, or may have information about those involved to contact Dorset Police in confidence.
“Two of the men had balaclavas on with hoods up over their heads, and one was wearing jeans and a dark purple top.
“I would urge anyone who may be able to assist with our enquiries to get in touch.
“I would like to remind residents that incidents of this nature are extremely unusual in Poole and we have increased patrols in the area.”
No arrests have been made. Witnesses and anyone with information should call Dorset Police in confidence on 101 quoting incident number 20:461. Alternatively, call the free and anonymous Crimestoppers line on 0800 555 111 where mobile phone tariffs may apply.
