A SMALL but enthusiastic group of cyclists turned out for the Big Breeze cycle ride this morning.
It was the first Big Breeze event to take place in Bournemouth, and set off from the Littledown Centre at 9.30am along the coast. The national event, organised by British Cycling, aims to get more women into cycling.
The group were led by local Breeze Ambassador Lynn Preston.
Olympic silver medalist and Breeze Ambassador, Jess Varnish, said: “The best thing about cycling is that anyone can do it, and in whatever form they like.
“I’m looking forward to seeing more women riding bikes and, most importantly, enjoying every moment.”
