A NIGHT-OUT ended in terror for a 32-year-old Bournemouth man when he woke to find his personal possessions had been stolen.
The victim left the Libertine public house in Westbourne at closing time on Friday, June 21. He was targeted between midnight and 4am the following day.
DC Emma Hawkes said the man had woken on the ground along Alum Chine Road to find he had suffered a nose injury and an unknown man demanding his mobile phone password. The thief had already helped himself to his wedding ring, wallet and watch.
She added: “This was quite a traumatic experience for the victim, who is unable to recollect what happened. Following the incident, he ran off and got into a taxi on Milburn Road.”
The thief is 5ft 10in tall, in his mid 30s, with a stocky build and short, dark, combed over hair. He was wearing a short sleeved blue shirt and jeans.
Witnesses should phone 101, quoting incident number 22:108, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
