A MOTORCYCLIST has been taken to hospital after a collision with a car ouside Tapper Funeral Service on Parkstone Road earlier today.
The collision occured at 9.56am and the busy road was blocked until 11.12am.
The ambulance attended the scene and the male biker was taken to hospital with a suspected broken collar bone.
The blue Yamaha motorbike was registered to a man from Poole and the green Renault Megane was registered to a woman from Poole.
Sue Wyatt from Tapper Funeral Service called the police afer heaing a loud bang.
She said: “The biker was mumbling and he seemed fine at first, but then the shock sank in and he suddenly went to pieces. If you see the state the bike was in, you wonder how he could possibly walk away from the accident.”
Local authority services also arrived at the scene to clean up fluid on the road.
