A MAN had his laptop and iPhone stolen before being pushed to the ground in a robbery in West-bourne.
The incident happened at around 11pm on Monday, July 8, along the junction of Tregonwell Road and Cranborne Road.
The victim, a 32-year-old London man, was walking along the pavement when he had his bag snatched containing a white Sony Vaio laptop and an iPhone 5.
The offender pushed him to the ground in the attack and ran off in the direction of Priory Road.
The victim did not suffer any injuries as a result.
DC Caroline Craft, of Bourne-mouth and Poole CID, said: “This has been a very traumatic experience for the victim who was visiting the area from London and staying in a nearby hotel.
“The offender is described as a dark-skinned man of medium build, around six feet tall and wearing a black beanie hat and a dark-coloured short-sleeved shirt with beige trousers.
“I am keen to hear from anyone who may have been offered an iPhone 5 or Sony Vaio laptop in strange circumstances or for an unusually low price.”
No arrests have been made.
Witnesses and anyone with info-rmation should call Dorset Police on 101 or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
