A BOURNEMOUTH-based charity is looking for people to take on the Thames Path Challenge to help make wishes come true for children with life-threatening illnesses.
Round Table Children’s Wish (RTCW) is recruiting participants to take part in one of the runs or walks over the weekend of September 14 and 15.
The routes available are a 100K route, a 50K distance and a 25K option.
The longest distance is from Putney to Henley and is a tough 24 hours walk – or an ultra-marathon.
To take part it costs £85 to register for the 100K challenge with £400 to raise and £60 for the 50K event with £275 minimum sponsorship. For the 25K challenge it costs £35 to register with £145 to raise.
The charity helps brave and inspirational young people aged between four and 17 by making their dreams a reality.
