Burglars smash windows at West Beach in early-morning break in
SCENES of crime officers are examining the scene of a burglary at a Bournemouth seafront restaurant this morning.
Raiders broke windows and smashed a camera off the wall at West Beach, to the west of Bournemouth pier.
Police were alerted by an alarm at 5.10am and officers arrived minutes later.
It is not yet known exactly what was taken but it is thought that bottles of spirits are missing from the premises.
Staff at the scene said the restaurant will be open later this morning, possibly by 11am.
