A BOURNEMOUTH family has won £6,000 off a Hyundai Santa Fe from Westover after winning a prize draw.

Faye Butterfield and her family went along to the draw at Westover in Wallisdown to discover that they had been pulled out of the hat in front of 80 other hopeful car buyers.

Westover’s Dacia, Fiat, Hyundai, Peugeot and Renault dealerships in Poole, Christchurch and Salisbury gave anyone who purchased a car during June the chance to win back half the price they paid for their new vehicle, up to a maximum of £6,000.

To qualify new car owners had to attend the prize draw, when the winning name was pulled out of a hat. Faye said: “We couldn’t believe it when our name was called out – we’ve never won anything before and it was quite overwhelming.

“It seems fate was on our side every step of the way with this purchase. We popped into Westover Hyundai looking for a car capable of towing our caravan and stumbled upon the perfect vehicle, complete with lots of luxuries that we hadn’t anticipated, like leather seats and satellite navigation.”

Julian Saunders, dealer principal of the Wallisdown Road showrooms, added: “We were delighted that a family like the Butterfields won our prize draw. We hope they enjoy many happy caravanning holidays with their new Santa Fe.”
