Brad Pitt's double was paid £4.44 an hour during 'World War Z'.
While the Hollywood star took home a £9million salary and stayed on a five-star private estate while filming the zombie movie, his double, David Paterson, earned £80 for working an 18-hour day.
David told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "I basically had to be Brad for the day and copy everything he did on screen.
"Brad was there the entire time, and they were filming over the course of months, so it must have been quite tough.
"I was paid £80 but it wasn't anything to do with the money. I'm not too fussed about that. I did it for the experience. You get asked to do something like that and you can't really say no.
"I didn't get a VIP pass for the film, nothing like that at all, and I haven't seen it yet. I walked away with around £80, no autograph and no VIP invites."
Acting as Brad's double meant David had to dress identically to the star while shooting scenes and follow Brad's lead.
He added: "Brad and I ran through a supermarket putting tins and jars into the trolley, acting out different scenes, and I was following his actions.
"I wore identical clothes to him, jeans, blue jacket and T-shirt. I had the same physique as him, both slim built, although not so much any more as I've put on weight since then."
