Two dogs were saved when a fire was put out in a house in Poole after cooking caught fire, firefighters said.
A Dorset Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said two crews from poole were called to a semi-detached bungalow in Seliot Close this morning to reports of smoke and found unattended cooking alight in the kitchen.
They put the fire out and the two dogs found in the property were said to be fine.
