DETECTIVES in Bournemouth are appealing for witnesses after a woman was sexually assaulted in the town centre.
The victim; a 25-year-old local woman, was “inappropriately touched” by a man on Horseshoe Common between 1.45am and 2am on Saturday.
DC Siobhan Lovering of Bournemouth CID, said: “This was a distressing incident for the victim who was uninjured.
“Witnesses and anyone with information are asked to contact police as soon as possible in the strictest confidence.”
The offender is described as Asian, between 20 and 30-years-old, around 5 ft 2in tall with a slim build. He has short dark hair and was wearing dark blue jeans and a white T-shirt. No arrests have been made.
